If you are a new patient, please bring your photo ID, current insurance card, and arrive 15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork. If you have been under the care of another physician, please bring your records, recent chest X-rays, or CT scans on a disk, or have them delivered prior to your appointment.
The fastest and most secure way to request a prescription refill is through the Patient Portal — click "Open Patient Portal" above to log in. Alternatively, you can contact your pharmacy directly and they will send an electronic request to our office. Please allow 48-72 hours for refill processing.
We accept Medicare and most major commercial insurance plans in the Tampa Bay area (including Florida Blue, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Cigna). Please contact our billing department or check your portal to verify your specific network status.
No. All visits at Bay Area Chest Physicians are conducted in person at our Clearwater office. We do not currently offer telehealth, telemedicine, or video visits.
We require at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to another patient who may need urgent pulmonary care.
